Humboldt and Siskiyou county residents: a known sexual predator is currently residing in the Scott Valley area.
Moses Sun (Sunny) Beaver, formerly of Forks of Salmon, Orleans, and Black Bear Ranch, has been harassing, assaulting, and raping women for over a decade. At least fifteen women have come forward.
Police reports have been filed with the Arcata Police and Humboldt and Siskiyou County Sheriffs, and there are open cases in both Siskiyou and Humboldt counties. Despite this, law enforcement has taken no real action, and Sun continues to threaten our community.
He is believed to be staying at his family's property on Hurds Gulch in Fort Jones, or at a property he purchased outside of Etna. He has been seen at Five Marys, Denny Bar, coffee shops in Etna, and is active on Tinder.
